Numb chapter 32"Nice family you put up, don't you Shadow?"
I saw Unka Leo gulp, and Cadence found some courage, speaking, though still shivering with fear.
"Dan.. Comm...no, Daniele how is it possible? You... You died in that explosion at the Pokéxtintion base!"
I glanced at her, puzzled. The base exploded? Wait. Then where's Dad?!
"Yeah but, surprise! Death didn't want me!" Daniele neared the duo, when Tristan jumped between them.
"If you dare touch them, you'll pray you never were born," he threatened in a low voice.
"And, humor me, how do you think to do so? Bouncing on me to death? Annoy me to suicide with your vapid voice?" Daniele retorted.
He was forced to duck as Tristan shot an Ice Beam at him. Most of it missed, but some of his face was frozen near his creepy weird robot eye. Tristan went for another hit, and it was clear the cyborg couldn't evade it. But then I heard a small pop, and a Sneasel was behind Tristan, holding a claw out to the Jigglypuff's throat
Pokeumans Ask the Author MemeHello all you writers! I am xXunovianXx (but call me Unovian), a fellow member of the Pokeumans community, and would love to have the opportunity to ask you, yes you! Mr./Ms. excellent author/deviant! questions about your story. Not your typical meme, isn't it?
Well, let's get started; sit down and make yourself comfortable!
Let the meme begin!
1) Now, what is your name/username, and what is your Pokeumans spinoff?
Well, first I was runoXdan but that doesn't matter anymore.
My spinoff is titled "Numb", inspired by the Linkin Park song of the same title.
2)What is your story about? Give a quick, 1-3 sentence overview of your spinoff.
Numb is about a girl named Melody who discovers her life is topsy turvy with missing memories, childhood friends, and crazy family members. Mimi (that's her real name) goes all over the US, trying to figure out what to do, meeting many Pokéumans along the way, and trying to survive meetings with her psychotic mother. All the whil
Numb chapter 31Unka Leo pulled the jeep out of the jet car (don't ask) and Mrs. Gina climbed into the driver's seat. Everyone piled in, and I ended up joining Samuel in his bubble after all. We started off, my siblings and Claire holding onto the plastic bubble so it wouldn't fall out, and Samuel and I floated in our little soundproof bubble for a while before I started getting bored.
"Are you feeling alright?" I asked him. He looked at me dazedly, and I instantly answered myself, "Yeah, stupid question."
"I feel dry, even though I'm surrounded by and soaking in water," he answered hoarsely. "Are you sure we'll find me medicine at this village?"
I nodded, even though I wasn't. Rubbing his back, I gave him a reassuring smile.
Around ten minutes later, Samuel said, "Hey Mimi?"
"...Did...did you miss us? After you disappeared?"
".....I remembered...a few things....stuff I never told my parents and the orphanage..." I said quietly. "Samy...I gave myself amnesia..."
"But..." I c
Her CatalystAs she walks through the maelstrom, the words trace upon the tips of her fingers and press into the stone. Every brick, every crack in the concrete, every crossed and angular stroke in reds and blacks and oranges. The drips of the gasoline pool around the base of her boots, slosh as she steps over the burst pipes and the rubble.
So much rubble. So little outcry. The silence of the city grates on her eardrums and the mantras she'd been forced to memorize. The Seers demanded they observe thirteen years of recitation before they attempt to weave their first World together.
But who other than the Seers can claim the incantations that knot the skeins they twist and pull on like reins hold fast? When have any of the Sisters recorded the visions they traced upon space-time and recited them, left them open for critique and discussion and debate?
Which is why she walks through the chalky soot of the smashed city around her. This all
